Performance characteristics of lining fluorine diaphragm valve for pump fittings

Sep 10, 2018

In pump fittings, diaphragm valves are a special type of shut-off valve. In the process of opening and closing, it is mainly realized by a diaphragm member made of a soft material, which separates the valve body cavity from the bonnet cavity. Among them, the fluorine-lined diaphragm valve is commonly used.

In the structure of the pump fitting, the lower valve body cavity and the upper valve cover inner cavity can be separated by the diaphragm, so that the valve stem, the valve flap and the like located above the diaphragm can be prevented from being corroded by the medium. No leakage of the medium is caused, and the stuffing box sealing structure is omitted. Moreover, the diaphragm is made of a soft sealing material such as rubber or plastic, and the sealing performance is good. Since the diaphragm is a consumable part, it should be replaced periodically depending on the working conditions and the characteristics of the medium.

It should be noted that due to the nature of the material, the pump fittings are mainly used for low pressure and low temperature applications. At the same time, the product also has good anti-corrosion properties. If the application is very important or the environment is complex, it is recommended to provide design drawings and detailed parameters as much as possible.http://www.pump-casting.com/
